"The Authorized Biography"

Everywhere he's worked, Bill Boronkay's made an impression. 1 radio station, 2 tv stations and 3 major cruise lines have all fired him.
Told he'd never make it in television, Boronkay won 5 Emmy awards during his career in
sportscasting and hosting. When his tv career stalled, Bill pivoted to stand up comedy,
a decision that's taken him around the world and improbably back to tv, as host of the
nationally syndicated "Cruise-In" airing on the FanDuel, Rev'n and Fun Roads networks.
In 2017, Boronkay was selected to host the Great Lakes Regional Emmy Awards, giving
him the rare honor of presenting trophies to several people who had previously fired him.
Bill's been heard on Sirius/XM, ESPN Radio, Bob & Tom and various radio stations across
the country.
In 2020, Dry Bar Comedy released Boronkay's first stand up special, which continues to
rack up views worldwide. He's also appeared on Comedy Dynamics, Amazon, Funny or Die and ComicSeen. Bill performs everywhere comedy is allowed, including clubs, colleges,
corporate and church events, cruise ships, Pennsylvania prisons (where he was heckled
by a service dog), Funny Bones, Improvs, Catch a Rising Star, the Laughing Skull Festival
and a renovated suburban attic.
Boronkay continues to share what he's learned as a childless, never married, middle aged man...at least until his next termination.
